Artist with a Photographic Memory

This guy can re-draw expansive panoramas from memory after looking at a scene for an hour. I know, I know -- for a whole hour?!??! When you see just how detailed the scenes are though, you gonna think, "He had only one hour to look?!??!"Digg it | del.icio.us | Add to Technorati Faves

Remi at the Door
Here's a picture of my daughter mezmerized by the first morning in months that wasn't below 45 degrees F. And yes, those are crumbs from a donut on her face.

GOAL!!!!
First, I didn't take this picture.
Second, I wish I was the one who took this picture.
Just a really great photo all around. Great color, texture action, composition -- everything. I wonder how much post production was done with this photo?

Proof: HTML Form Right Flush

I totally agree with him and I'm glad he did this, but making a mathematical formula proving that flushing text right in HTML form design is better is just a bit over my head.Digg it | del.icio.us | Add to Technorati Faves

David Burnett and His Graflex Speed Graphic Camera

All you have to do is look at this photo (same photo as above) to know that David Burnett sees the world differently from the rest of us.
He shoots with a Graflex Speed Graphic 4x5 format camera. It's an old-time camera that you'd recognize from old black and white movies. The shots he gets are amazing. The picture above looks like he positioned a bunch of toy baseball players atop a table. They're just beautiful photos.
If you're interested, there's a great article in the New York Times that talks about when the best time to use digital and film cameras might be.Digg it | del.icio.us | Add to Technorati Faves
